Does COVID-19 affect people with different blood types differently?

There hasn't been enough research to conclusively say whether different blood types are more or less susceptible to COVID-19. There has only been one study that investigates the relationship between blood type and COVID-19, but this paper has not been formally evaluated by the scientific community. The study reported a statistically significant association between people with type A blood and SARS-CoV-2 infection; however, more research needs to be done to draw any conclusions on this matter.
